The Global Innopolis Network Initiative (GINI) is an international collaboration platform connecting cities and regions committed to leveraging science and technology to drive sustainable innovation, economic growth, and industrial development. GINI brings together six founding members—Daejeon (Republic of Korea), Montgomery County (MD, USA), Málaga (Spain), Dortmund (Germany), Seattle (USA), and Québec Province (Canada)—to share knowledge,co-develop solutions, and foster meaningful partnerships across borders. GINI was officially launched at the Leaders Assembly held on September 4, 2024, in Daejeon, Republic of Korea. The signing of the GINI Charter by founding members marked the start of a long-term commitment to inclusive, innovation-led urban collaboration.
