Québec officially joined GINI following its designation as an eligible invitee at the 2024 GINI Inaugural High-Level Meeting.
The membership was formalized on June 11, 2025, when Ms. Martine Biron, Minister of International Relations and La Francophonie, signed the Letter of Intent.
The province has been recognized as a major hub for innovation and sustainability, hosting world-class universities and industries at the forefront of science and technology.
